Can't get into Outlook 2003

All of a sudden, I have to sign in to my Outlook to check my mail. I've
never had to sign in before. Anything I put in for a password doesn't work..
If I click on forgot password, it tells me to send myself an email to reset.
If I can't get into my email, how do I send myself an email explaining how to
reset the password? Can anybody help me solve my dilemma?
