can't get microsoft outlook 2003 to log into my hotmail plus accou

I laid out the $19.95 for a hotmail plus account and the damn thing won't
sync into my outlook 2003. i've read every help file and nothing works. it
prompts me for my login and password, which works on the web-based hotmail
page, but not here for some reason. error message says invalid
username/password, but i am 100% it's right. help!!!
