Outlook Connector, outlook and Hotmail

I posted this yesterday, but it seems to be gone...

I can't make outlook connector work with my hotmail account; th
'outlook connector' button in the menu bar only appears occasionally
and i get an error message every time I add my hotmail to outlook 200
(can't expand folders/ process forbidden). The Pop3 protocol onl
works for me to receive my hotmail, the server won't allow me to sen
via outlook 2003. any suggestions

That would suggest an add-in issue or even a conflict with another add-in
that you have installed. One of those add-ins could be an older version of
Google Apps Sync.

If this is not the case, locate extend.dat and rename it to .old

the server won't allow me to send

Make sure you have set the port for the SMTP server to 587 and try again.
Also, make sure you have enabled authentication for the SMTP server.
