Cant get new mail new email popup or sound. all advance settings .

I am useing office outlook 2003 with 3 email AC:s & cant get the popup or
sound to say there is new mail. Have checked all settings in tools & all tick
boxes are corect, tried repair, but no luck. Email is reaching me, but i have
to keep checking all my in boxes.
Hope someone can HELP.
