Can't get OCT to block these settings...

Maybe someone here would have an idea on how to pull this off? I am setting
up Office 2007 using the OCT for our company. I have looked in the OCT
settings, but I cannot find out how to set the following:

-Opening a new document in word, you are prompted to select a ‘New Document’
and you can select from a list of templates, etc. I want to stop this from
coming up and just go directly to a new document. I also get a similar box
in Excel. How can I turn this prompt off for all Office 07 apps?

-In Word the spacing is set to 10pt. How I can I force it to set to 0?

For custom settings for Word documents, edit the normal.dotm template and
distribute that with your deployment as everyone's new "default" template
for blank documents.

For the "New Document" customization, may I ask why you would want to
disable this core functionality? You can add the "new default document"
button to the Quick Access Toolbar for users who want a single step.
