Can't get OneNote to make task in Outlook

I activated my OneNOte and wonloaded the ServicePack, but I still can't get
it to create a Task in Outlook. When I go under Tools and select Create
Outlook Item, the selections are grayed-out and the shortcuts don't work. Any
ideas on what is wrong.

This group is to discuss Microsoft Access, the database component of Office.
You'd be better off in an Outlook group.
