Can't get rid of embedded fonts

Hello,
For work, I have to submit documents that contain only Times New Roman font.
When I include a table in these docs, Word 2007 includes Calibri font and I
cannot get rid of it. I've set up themes for only Times New Roman, I've used
the clear formatting feature, I've even tried creating the tables elsewhere
and copying them into Word 2007, all to no avail. Can anyone help me out?
