Can't get to office.microsoft.com - HELP PLEASE

This is VERY strange, but whenever I try to navigate to an office related
support site, my browser just upbruptly closes... Doesn't matter if I type in
the IP address directly into internet explorer, or use the link through the
office program...

HERE is the kicker - I can get to the support site NO PROBLEM using Mozilla
Firefox

Can anyone help?

I have a similar problem. Whenever I try to get to office.microsoft.com, my
system seems to block it. If I click the (?) help button in an Office app,
the help window pops up and after several seconds I get "This page is
unavailable." If I try to go to office.microsoft.com in IE7, I get
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage."

I added office.microsoft.com to my trusted Web sites, and it sort of loaded,
but since goes to live.microsoft.com to do some permissions check, it dies
there because that is not in my trusted sites.

I don't have Firefox installed, so I was unable to test that. Other
computers in my office have no problems.

This is craZy. I attempted to call Microsoft support on this issue but they
wanted to charge me $250 for the possibility of answering my question - which
they said they may not be able to do. This is a joke. You would think
Microsoft would want their customers to be able to access the support site -
but if they're charging $250 a pop PER SUPPORT CALL that they are not even
obligated to garauntee an answer...

No wonder Bill is taking his time fixing the issue.

Good 'ol Microsoft - gotta love'm.
