Can't get Word to boot

[Extremely Frustrated!]

I'm on a Mac OSX and have the Microsoft office suite. I can use Entourage with no trouble but when I want to boot Word or Excell, etc, I get and Application has unexpectadly quit error. I have re-installed, gone through all my fonts and removed conflicting ones and duplicates and I stll can't get them to boot.
