Can't grab/change images

I currently have PowerPoint 2000. Someone sent me a presentation that needed
changes. I cannot click on the images in the presentations - pictures, clip
art, logos, etc to delete or change them at all. I click or right-click and
nothing happens. I can, however, make changes to the text boxes. I have
checked and these images are not on the master slide. I also am not able to
contact the presentation creator.

Any ideas?

Could this be because the presentation was created in a newer version? Can
the images simply be locked? If I were to upgrade, would I then be able to
change these?

Any suggestions? Thanks!

You would have to right click on the background and save background then use
an image editor to change it. If you dont have the facilty to do this we
could do it for you for a small charge as long as there are no copyright
issues
