can't Import and Export office???

I want to do an export files to backup my files to an external hard drive but
when I press import and export an error box comes up and says "The
Import/Export commands is not available. Run Outlook Setup again to
configure the import/export correctly". I am afraid that if I run setup
again I will loose all my data from the past 3 years on my computer in
outlook. What will happen "Repair office Media content, restoring it to
it'/s original state? Will I loose everything? or will it stay.
Also, any help in backing up emails and contacts to an external hard drive?

Don;t export - Close Outlook and copy your .pst file to the external hard
drive. That file has everything in Outlook - mail, contacts, calendar,
tasks, etc.

Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]

Windows Search is your friend - enable searching hidden/system files and
look for ALL files with a .pst extension - likely you also have an
archive.pst file you will need to copy as well.
