Can't Import Excel Lists

In Access 2003, when I try to import an Excel 2003 list, it tells me it can't
find an Installation ISAM. When I change the following registry entry:
HKEY_LocalMachine\software\microsoft\jet\4.0\engines\excel\win32 from
MSAEXP30.DLL TO MSEXCL40.DLL I am able to import; but then I can't load
Access without changing it back. It just tells me that it is configuring MS
Office Access 2003 and does nothing. Seems like I need references to both
..dll files. How and where do I do that?
