I cannot install the Office SvcPk3 update. I found 3 messages here addressing
this issue; none have helped. none of the help pages at ms.com worked, either.
At first, I was getting the SBERET.msi error, but loading the OfficeXPSB
CD-ROM did not work, even though a search shows the file is on the CD-ROM.
When I try to install the service pack with the CD in my D drive, it skips
over the SBERET message, but still won't install.... I get a pop-up saying
the instal was unsuccessful.
I tried downloading the service pack from Microsft too many times to count.
I even tried downloading the ''full'' update program (the 59MB file).
All of my MS software is legally purchased and registered, I have the
CD-ROMs for OfficeXPSB , how do I install the Office Service Pack 3?
