What type of account? What version of Outlook?

POP/SMTP (I think that was the question), Outlook 2002. Thanks.

If you're using a POP account, there's no way to keep a have sent items go
to the server. POP servers have no concept of folders. Sent Items are kep
in your Sent Items folder which is in your Personal Folders file. You need
to enable the option to keep your sent items by clicking
Tools>Options>E-mail Options and checking "Save copies of messages in Sent
Items folder".

A computer never does anything "on its own". Something happened to cause
this. Can you think of anything that happened thereabouts? Have you
checked the Outlook settings?
