Can't Launch any Office Applications

I cannot open any Office 2004 (Mac) applications. The error message
reads: "Could not be launced because of a shared library error
D<microsoftword><apple:carbon; Multimedia<CFMPriv_vcomponentGlue><>"

I read some of the other threads and downloaded the latest update, but
I got the same error message when I tried to open the update.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since you don't mention I must ask - Did you run Disk Utility - Repair Disk
Permissions after the update? *Which* update did you install? (11.3 is the
one to use.) What version of Mac OS?
