can't link to ms visio

Hi,
Recently I'm experiencing a problem for my MS Word. I
used to be able to acces an attachement (of visio or any
kind) by clicking to the attachment when I'm on MS Word.
But now I keep getting error msg: Word can't access the
document: user doesn't have access privilege.
Anybody can't help me with this ?
I tries to reinstall the whole Office, but it didn't work.
This is Office 2003 by the way.

The inability to edit embedded objects is caused by Norton AV. In
Norton Options turn off "Enable Office Plug-in" found in the
Miscellaneous section.
