can't move emails to sub-folders from my inbox?

Outlook won't allow me to send or receive emails. I can't move those messages
in the "inbox" to any sub-folder and get a warning that "it can't be moved".
Also, the emails in the outbox remain there and can't be deleted as there is
a problem with the "interface".

Has anyone had this problem and can find a remedy. I tried the support email
but have not had a reply and they can't help on the phone either. Nor will
Dell!

Try these in the following order:
(this order is just my opinion on the difficulty level)

1) Try the Inbox Repair Tool (scanpst.exe).
2) Create a new mail profile
3) Help>Detect and Repair
4) Create a new PST and copy to it everything from your old PST. Make the
new PST the delivery location.
5) Remove and reinstall Outlook
