I had a user that when she tried to move a subfolder she would get the
following message:
"Can't move the items. Unable to delete this folder. Right-click the
folder, and then click Properties to check our permissions for the
folder. See the fodler owner or your adminstrator to change your
permissions."
Turns out that the parent folder had a period in it. Once it was
removed the problem was resolved.
Praise God for this solution.
