can't open doc file while scanning with norton

while i double click to open a word file, the word 2003 start running and it
STOPs and shows the word "request virus scan", the word is blinking at the
bottom.

i am using Windows Xp Home Edition with SP 2, norton antivirus 2004, and
Office 2003 standard edition.

what the problem is??

Possible solution;
In NAV '04:
Disable script blocking. Also under options / miscellaneous de-select
"enable Office plug-in".
