Also, note that previewing Word documents from within Word's dialog boxes
don't work properly in recent versions of Word. Often enough you see a
message stating that there is no preview available. :-(

Some dialog box was open, that's why. This is an annoying feature of
Win7/Word 2010 (whatever one rules this problem), those boxes don't
float to the top and I don't know that's the issue.
