cant open emails with .pps extensions.Have power point 2003.

receiving e-mails with .pps extensions but cannot open.When I try to open
with power point I get a message saying the file is not a pps type file even
though it has a pps extension.?????

You may be experiencing a bug that has been reported by users of Outlook Express
who have the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer installed and who try to open email
attachments that are .PPS files. The work around recommended is to save the
file to your hard drive and open it from there. If that doesn't work or doesn't
apply to your situation, please let us know.

tried opening fron "C" drive but no luck! What now?

I can't tell what "no luck" means. You can always open PowerPoint and go to
File > Open and open the file. But if you mean that you get a message about the
file, I would need to know what the message is.

Your file associations may have been altered by other software installs, etc.
