Open Power Point as Presentation

Hi!
I have Office 2000. I used to click in a Power Point presentation and
normally would open as a presentation. After I reinstalled Office 2000, all
my .PPS open in Normal View. Then I press F5 and I can see the presentation
show. This used to happen before only if the file was a ppt. I tried to save
these files as PPS [they even have that extension] but never the less, they
open as Normal View. I know is not much of an effort to press F5... but I
want to fix this annoying problem.
Thanks,
Dan

Try going to Windows Explorer > Folder Options > File Types

Find pps and click advanced. If 'Show' is in the list of options select it
and set default. If 'Show' is not there it will be a little more complex!

Hi John!
My mistake I did not tell you I am running Vista Home Premium. Unlike XP
your only choices are just to change the program that will open the file.
