Can't Open Enterprise Resource Pool

J

John Cello

ProjectServer 2003 (NO service packs), Project Pro 2003, XP Pro environment.

Recently moved the SQL db to another server using the steps in KB905386.
All functionality is restored except for the fact that I can't open the
enterprise resource pool. I am the only one experiencing these problems. I am
an administrator, but when I try to build a team from the enterprise or open
the resources to edit them, it starts the process but Project Pro stops
responding. The other 2 admins do not have ths problem.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Project Pro (a couple of times), and have
run out of ideas. If anyone could point me where to start looking for
problems or if you have a solution, please sing out

Thanks in advance.

Hi John,

When you are using Project is it connecting you to the server or does the
system remain disconnected? Also you mention you've moved the SQL DB to
another server, any chance that the service or amin acount is different?

Jason:

Thanks for the prompt reply.

It connects. I can open, edit, create, save, publish, etc. projects.

The only problem I'm having is with the enterprise resource pool. Kind of
driving me crazy as nothing has changed for me, and I'm the only one having
these problems. It would be easier if I at least knew where to start looking.
I just keep picking away at it.

Thanks again.

Have to admit that I've never heard of this before John. Is there anything in
the event logs? Any error message we can work from.
