I had this excel file which I'd spent 2 weeks typing in all the contact
details. When I tried to open it today after the completion yesterday, it
just prompt me these messages:
Error Msg received when I double click the file:
"F:\Joey\BIO 2005\Tentative Database.xls' could not be found. Check the
spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct."
Error Msg received when I use excel open command:
"'Tentative Database.xls' cannot be accessed. The file may be read-only, or
you may be typing to access a read-only location. Or, the server the document
is stored on may not be responding"
I'd tried tried repairing the file, but same error msg was received and it
didn't response to the data retrieval methods given. Not even to email the
file or copy it into another directory.
This document is a pain to me, pls help
