Since upgrading to Windows XP, when I try and open a
document in Read-only mode (on a doc that is password
protected) the dialog box appears to enter the password or
to click on read-only ok but when I click read-only the
file doesn't open. The screen just remains blank.
I have tried it on another XP machine and the file opens
in read-only mode no problems. So I thought I would re-
install Office 97 to see if that fixed the problem. But
it didn't.
