Can't open Microsoft Word

I have never had this problem before, but when I try to go
into Microsoft Word I get this message:
C:\msOffice\WINWORDExe. is not a valid Win 32
application. I get this on the desktop from the short cut
and also from Microsoft Word when I go into the Progams.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do? I have
all my programs for my work at the church in Word. Thanks
to anyone who can help me.
