Can't open MS Word 2007

The only way that I can reliably open Word 07 is in safe mode. When I try to
open normally or through another program such as AIA Documents, I get a
message saying that Word has stopped working. If I keep trying several times
it will finally open in normal mode, but only about 25% of the time.

I am using Vista operating system. Any suggestions?

It suggests a bad or incompatible third party add-in (which may be AIA
Documents itself). You need to isolate which add-in is causing the problem.
