Can't open MS-Word

I've got Winword 2000 and Windows '98. My problem is I can't open Winword,
and when I try to open it, it pops out rejection sign which is written " This
program has an illegal operation and will be shut down...And when I click
details button, it says :
"WINWORD caused a general protection fault
in module HPFWIN20.DLL at 0016:0000876c.

The error message points to a problem with the printer driver for
your Hewlett Packard printer. Try deleting and reinstalling the
printer in Start | Control Panel | Printers.
