Cant Open My Word 2000

hello, until last week my WORD-2000 was working fine, but
now when i go to open it, it semi opens up, then an error
message pops up , & it closes. I have uninstalled,
reinstalled, tryed technical support but it wont take my
product id..lol & have also used steps from the microsoft
support site, but to no avail... Can someone help me to
solve this problem, thank u...

My problem is exactly the same as yours. Just happened
this a.m. Try to open Word 2000, it begins to, then the
hated window pops up, "Microsoft Word for Windows has
encountered a problem and needs to close." Scanned for
viruses, rebooted numerous times, nothing works. Need
help too, fast....
