I"ve recently installed Office 2007.
For various reasons, I still have to use Powerpoint 2003 at the work.
Throught the properties dialogue I have set PPT files to be opened by
PowerPoint 2003, but consistantly get an error that says mypres.PPT is not a
valid WIN32 Application.
Of note, when in the Properties/OPens with dialogue box the PPT 2003 icon is
a blue generic one, not PPT2003. this icon apears on teh 'recommended' list
and when I browse to Office11, POWERPNT the icon is correct, but when I
select it it doesn't set back to recomended list.
IF I open Power POint 2003 and then open a PPT file thorugh file/open, the
file works.
But That is a real pain.
All I want is that by default, PPT files are opened by Powerpoint 2003.
Anyone know how to make this happen?
