Can't open program

When I try to access my Word program, it jams most of the
time. Sometimes I get an error message that I lack
storage space or memory. I have about half of a 20MB hard
drive free. I have 320 RAM which varies in the amount
that is free--usually half or more. How much storage or
memory do I need?

I'm having the same problem.

Plenty of memory and space on the hard drive.
Only Word locks up.
Help!
