Word 2007 on Vista Home Premium, all fully updated. Suddenly I am unable to
open a word document by double clicking the file from within Windows
explorer. I gives a dialog box that "Word has encountered a problem and
must be closed", followed by a statement the the path to the document can
not be found. Curiously, I can open the doc by highlighting it (from within
Win Exp) then choosing the option 'Open', but double clicking the file
reliably shuts Word down with above messages. Any suggestions? Could this
be an indexing problem?
