can't open word

I have 23.1 GB unused and 78% free memory. Everytime I
try to open word it gives me the error "resourses are
dangerously low". I have tried to repair and I
uninstalled and reinstalled word, but still get this
error. I can open all other programs on my computer.
Help!

HEY I AM HAVING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM WITH MY WORD
APPLICATIONS ON MY COMPUTER, HAVE YOU SOLVED THE PROBLEM
YET. I ALSO UNINSTALLED ANDREINSTALLED WORD BUT I STILL
GET THE SAME ERROR MESSAGE AS YOU ARE GETTING. NEED HELP,
I HAVE LOTS OF STUFF SAFED IN THE WORD FILES AND NONE WILL
REOPEN. THANKS TERESA.
