Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I've just started using a new macbook with leopard. When I go to select a new design template for my powerpoint pres. I can't see the designs, all I see is a generic Powerpoint logo. My old iBook (tiger) showed each slide deign as you scrolled through the list.

Any suggestions?

Try using the Project Gallery when creating your presentation. If it
doesn't appear automatically, go to File > Project Gallery in PowerPoint.
Then, under the "New" tab, in the left-hand pane, go to Presentations >
Designs, and in the right pane, double-click the one you want.

Otherwise, when you are in an already-existing presentation, you can use the
floating Formatting Palette to select a design. Click the "Change Slides"
heading, and underneath that", click the first small icon. Then, the
included presentation designs should appear. Just click on to select it.
