Can't Print 2 pages per sheet with NO change markups

Word locks up during the print operation when trying to
print a document WITHOUT showing the change markups (doc
tracking is being used) and also printing two pages per
sheet. Word shows up in the XP task window and "not
responding". The Word application must be forced to quit.

Choosing to print with NO change markups and only one page
per sheet does work correctly.
Choosing to print WITH change markups and two pages per
sheet DOES work correctly.

Is this a known bug and/or is there is patch or work-
around?
