can't print last page first

Working on a Dell Dimension 4600 with Windows XP, and a Dell printer. It will
not follow the order to print last page first (except in e-mail). Am working
on a novel and it is a bit of a pain to have to shuffle through 40-50 pages
to put them in the right order. How do I fix it so it will print as I tell it
to?

In Word XP, go into File -> Page Setup. Click on the Paper tab. Near the
bottom of the dialog box, you will see a button labeled 'Print Options' click
on that, and in the Print Options dialog box, you will see a checkbox for
'Reverse print order'.

That should enable you to get your last page first as you desire.

If you have a printer that outputs pages face up (and it sounds as if you
do), it's quite possible that the printer is already set up to reverse the
print order. Choosing the "Reverse print order" option in Word then has the
opposite effect.
