Cant publish in FP 5.0...

B

Brandon

I have built a page using FP 5.0, when I go to file/publish web I find that
"publish web" is grayed out...
I cant seem to find a way to get the page loaded to the server.
This happens if the page is open in FP or if no page is open.

What am I missing?

Thanks
Brandon

Are you sure you are on-line?

Yes, i am on a cable connection.
I am new to using FP, is there a way i need to save this page before i can
publish it?

"my webs"?
I have previousl;y just saved it in a folder i created on the desktop, does
it need to be saved in a specifiic place with speciffic parameters?
Thanks

You might want to also check your Proxy settings. You can access it by
clicking on the Proxy Settings in the Options Menu located under the
Tools section of your menu bar. See if it is connected the right way.

Brandon,

Another thing I thought of is that you might want to check to see if you
can choose Remote Site under the View menu. If you can, you can then set
up the FTP or FrontPage publishing using that method versus looking for
the hyperlink from the File menu.
