can't re-call or re-schedule outlook meeting, appointment

Why can't I re-call appointment or meeting, I sent out?
I can't even re-schedule it, reschedule button is greyed out.

What settings I need to look at to enable re-schedule option, if not what is
the purpose of reschedule button in Outlook 2003?
