Can't re-start SQL Server

SQL Server has turned itself off. Since doing this Outlook and Explorer are
very slow to load up (@10 minutes) and I can no longer access Business
Contact Manager. How can I resolve this, I've tried to re-start SQL but it
won't start

Assistance greatly appreciated

If the problem is SQL Server, why are you posting in an Office newsgroup?
You'd get an answer much quicker finding a SQL Server newsgroup and posting
there.
