Can't read forwarded email when "online"

I have a problem with one of my end users that can not
read forward emails (as attachments) when she is online.
If she starts her session off line and the message has
already been recieved then she can open it as normal. But
as soon as she goes online and downloads or syncs. her
email account she can't read it anymore. Any suggestions?
