Can't read & type Outlook Calender subject in Chinese & Japanese

After I re-format my laptop and adjust the Regional and Language Options. I
still cannot see the Chinese & Japanese words in my Outlook Calendar which I
have type previously. It gave me '???' in my Calendar subject/description.
Now I can't even type on the Calendar subject in Chinese & Japanese.

When I tried to install the Language Packs, I got 'The expected version of
the product was not found on your system'.

Please help me. Thanks...

Were you installing the correct language packs for your version? Did you
install all updates for office and windows? (It takes several visits to
microsoft update to get them all).
