cant receive emails with signature in microsoft oulook 2002

I cant receive emails froms my hotmail account when my personnal signature is
there, if i remove it then there's no problems, i have win 98se and microsoft
oulook pro 2002. I dont know if it has something to do with my av, i have
avast????
