Try setting up your POP3 email account again.
Tools/Email Accounts/View or change existing email
accounts
It takes more time, but I would delete all of them and re-
add them. However, when you do it, have your emailhost
provider tech support on the phone and ask them exactly:
1) what your pop server name is
2) what your smtp server name is
3) make sure your username is correct. Some providers
mandate that your user name has to be in the format:
[email protected] some mandate that it is just Harry
(leaving off the @hisprovider.com).
4) Make sure your password is exact including
upper/lower case.
5) Then when setup click "test account settings" on the
first email screen. If errors out on one of the steps,
post to me what the error message is saying in the small
print, such as "server doesn't recognize user name" or
whatever it says, etc.
Hope this gets you back to receiving mails. Let me know.
