Further info (via VCOM Fix-It Error Tracker): Process name: E:\SETUP.EXE,

After literally weeks & weeks of travail, finally found a solution to the
above problem @ The Elder Geek on Windows XP. It's, quite simply, 'Uninstall
Programs Manually.' At least it worked for me. Was able to, finally,
successfully reinstall Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 (Beta). Here's
