cant remove dots between words need plain spaces

dont know how i got themthere but i can get rid of them. puts a dot between
each word like this. I.. but it is up higher

When you print, do the "dots" show up? I suspect that you are seeing
Formatting Marks. Try this, go to the Tools menu and select Options.
On the View tab, remove all of the checks in the Formatting Marks
section. Click OK. Do the dots go away? Formatting Marks are
non-printing character that you can display so that you can see how
many spaces, tabs, paragraph marks, etc. that you've typed. I find
them very useful.

Or, in Word, you can remove the format marks by clicking on the icon that
looks like a paragraph symbol in your toolbar.
