Can't save any office document after Office Update

Word, Excel, Visio - SAVE AS form does not display when Save As is clicked.
Subsequent search does not find any saved docs.

This started after Office Updates :

Office 2007 SP2
Update for 2007 Microsoft Office System KB967642
Visio 2007 SP2

I am having the same problem datamama. If you've found a fix for this
please post back. I have two systems (one XP Pro and one XP Home). Both
systems have identical installations of Office 2007. SP2 was downloaded and
installed via Windows Update seperately for each machine. The XP Pro system
works fine, saves new documents, etc. The XP Home system has the problem
you describe.
