Hi C.,
Unfortunately, a Windows security update, (KB908531), issued to plug a potential hole interactted with some 3rd party software from
HP and Nvidia, which in turn impacted a number of products, including MS Office products.
My understanding is that the 3rd party vendors are updating their software and MS will be re-releasing the update, documented in the
MS06-015 Security Bulletin starting Tuesday afternoon, 25Apr2006 as documented here.

(v1.2-20Apr2006)
In the meantime, until either the 3rd party software or MS update update is obtained to make a change to the Windows registry that
will in many cases restore the previous functionallity. The steps for making that change are listed here.

==========
I've owned this CPU for two years and never had trouble saving MS OFFICE documents. I can open previously saved documents but I
can not save the changes nor can I save under a different name. New documents do not give me a problem.
HEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! I have kids
who are in High School.>>
