I am trying to save and publish a project but I am getting the following error:
The file cannot be opened. Check that the file name and path are correct.
Check that the file format is recognized by Project.
This is same project that I was able to save/publsih before. However, there
are now some inactive resources on this project with remaining work. Would
that cause this error? What is the best approach to removing these inactive
resources? Complete their task and then remove from the Project's team?
What will be the impact of removing them from the project on their previously
submitted task update and timesheet?
