I have an Access 2000 front end with linked tables to SQL
Server 2000. I am having trouble with Access when a
search is performed via a pop-up search form. The record
appears to be found. However, Access will not save the
record. I have also noticed that any time the record
cannot be saved, the record number shown is much lower
than it should be with the records sorted by the
autonumber field. Also, there are times that clicking
into a field will populate the field with data from some
other record. This is happening on XP Professional and
Windows 2000 Pro. O/S systems. With the exception of SP2
on the XP systems, all systems are current with service
packs, Jet 4 updates, mdac updates and Office 2000
updates. Do anyone know how to fix this problem or a
workaround?
Thanks
