when I save a POWERPOINT presentation to a cdrw disc on
one computer and try to access it on the laptop for a
presentation I am told "can't access drive E, see your
administrator." WHAT am I doing wrong?

Save to you HD first, and then put it on your CD

Are you trying to save directly to the CD from within PowerPoint? Don't do
that. Save to the hard drive and then copy the file to the CD.

Also, CDRW's are not always readable on drives from which they didn't
originate. When writing to a CD that needs to be read on other systems, I
have learned to use a CD-R, rather than CD-RW. If you have done this before
without problem, then you can disregard my precaution.
